Part of my job as a wedding planner is knowing the San Antonio wedding market very well. I met with the brand new venue, Tuscany venue and met with the owner, Andres. He explained to me that the estate is well over a century old, and they’ve been doing renovations to transform you away from San Antonio and to a Tuscan hillside venue to create the perfect backdrop to your event.

The picturesque stone walls really set the tone for an Italian-Rustic romance novel. I’m left wondering, “Who owned this beautiful estate? What did they do?” as I walk around and marvel at every historic touch. Andres pointed out the many renovations that were taking place on that day and in the future.

As I imagined the renovations as explained, it gave off The Veranda vibes. Very other-worldly. I told him I was a huge fan of the fountain, which he proudly stated it was brought in by him. He graciously let me take photos with my iPhone, but you can’t really see what they have done at Tuscany Wedding Venue until you are there.

It is no secret, 2021 will all be about outdoor events. As we move to a live beyond Covid, people are going to feel better and more relaxed about the virus if they are outdoors. Bonus: Tuscany Wedding venue can fit 500 people outdoors, this means if federal and state mandates that we must operate at 50 percent capacity, a wedding of under 250 guests could comfortably commence.

Rest assured, you can feel safe having your family and friends at his lovely estate.

If you missed the open house last January 27th, 2021 - schedule a tour with Andres the owner. He will graciously welcome anyone who wants to see the grounds.

XoXo!

"Why have a wedding in the first place?"

"I don't even want a wedding"

"I won't ever get married!"

I hear so many dismissive comments about weddings and the wedding industry. I have to have grace when I hear such comments. Since I have made it my career, I have a lot more to say than the average person. Yes, weddings are a luxury. They are very expensive, take lots of time to plan, are sometimes stressful when trying to please families, and seem very unnecessary at times.

But they bring people together. They essentially introduce new family members to each other. They offer a chance for everyone to dance, eat, dine together and witness the magic of a union. It's an experience like no other -- when you are the bride or groom.

Some people think they are a waste of money. A way for people to capitalize on a person's love. An industry hell bent on taking your money.

But when your grandparent passes and you're searching through photos to cherish, you will look at your wedding photos. You will see all of your family members, in their best, all dressed up to celebrate you. Smiling, crying, and enjoying the moment. You will be glad that you gathered everybody together under one roof and did the damn thing right.

Weddings sometimes also come with regret. Most of the time, it's the regret that they never had one. Never got to experience being the excited blushing bride/selecting a lacey white dress/walking down the aisle with your dad. The chance to let everyone know how banging you look in that dress. (just saying, lol!)

This one's a short one, but I hope it's clear that weddings are deep. They bring people together in the name of love. That's amazing.

With love,

In short; You deserve this. You are worth a day to celebrate that you've found the love of your life. It has taken a lot for you two to get to where you are today and I know that. You matter to me. Your love is beautiful. Honorable. Unique. Sacred.

Being a bride or groom is a once in a lifetime experience that is over in a blink of an eye. Maybe you've always wanted this day to come and it's finally happening. You've dreamt of this day since you were a little girl or boy. When you make your way down that aisle and lock eyes with your partner, know that your moment is now. You are partaking in the most romantic thing someone could do: profess their undying love to their life partner.

This is why I do what I do.

Every wedding I have the pleasure of attending, I cry! I shed a tear or two because I know this is magical and when I say "I am honored to coordinate/plan your day" I truly mean it with every fiber of my bones. My presence is not only my job, but my pleasure.

At the core of every human, we are searching for, longing for, made out of, and often exude love. It's in every act of kindness, every display of vulnerability, and every careful selection. The pandemic has wedding vendors searching for reasons to keep fighting the good fight. We do this because we are passionate and truly adore our clients.

I am in the business of love. Love never fails. The people I meet are very practical, whimsical, exciting, courageous, and in the most happiest time of their lives. Planning a wedding shouldn't be frustrating. I wake up everyday wondering how I can make my bride and grooms lives easier, how I can bring out the fun? How I can bring the happiness to fulfill your needs during this experience? How can I connect with more bride and grooms so that I can cultivate an experience that they will love?

I absolutely love what I do. I even love the business of the day of. The chatter, the setting up, the hustle, the bustle, the direction, the sweat, the tears, the love. To see the day unfold the way it was supposed to is the most satisfying feeling. To wake up to a new review of how I helped out my bride and grooms is soul food.

I. Love. Planning. Weddings.

How can I not wake up everyday excited to plan out a unique, timeless, special day of love? My clients will be rewarded with a lifetime of memories of this day with family and friends. I bust my ass to make that happen and that's why I plan weddings.

Love, lace, and lots of grace,
