I don't know if it has hit you yet.. but you're getting married, gurl! You're planning a wedding! This day will be filled with love and will the be the start of the best that is yet to come. Everybody deserves this experience. The opportunity to show the world that you love this person, that you two have created a union and this union merges two families.
Have you ever sat down and talked about what you both want? It can get a bit overwhelming from the start, and personal opinions get overlooked. Sit down for a bit to touch base and find out what 3 or more elements are most important for each of y'all and go from there.
From staring at your shiny new ring everyday, to the moment you say, "I do!" It's a special journey as you embark on this commitment for life. Don't forget along the way, that it's your moment as The Bride. Be present, take photos. Enjoy the moment! It will fly by so fast. You'll be frustrated about a detail and then before you know it, it will be over and you want to take it all in before you look back and wish that you had. You'll realize those little details mattered far less than the overall experience.
Tender moments are ahead! From that moment you put on your dress for the last time and get fastened up to take that walk down the aisle, to the moment you wave "bye" at your grand exit, I'm right be your side. I take my role as your wedding coordinator extremely serious. I've invested my time, career, and my weekends into this career. This means I want to see to it that you are over-the-moon-happy with the wedding services I provide.
Right now, planning a wedding can seem like a daunting task. Figuring out a wedding style is confusing if all your looking at are the first pages of something you googled or searched on Pintrest. The time it takes to research a vendor, find out the price, gauge your budget, and compare the services to another vendor, will be consuming. How do you know what the average prices are in San Antonio? What are the differences between a $400 service or a $3,000 service?
As your wedding planner, I'll be able to give you the average prices of vendors in San Antonio. We can figure out your budget and find one that will allow us to stick to it. Easy peasy. I'll also be able to let you know industry secrets that will benefit you immensely. For example, April and May are usually wet months in San Antonio. It is also the months of prom season and FIESTA. This means, you may want to avoid those months due to the rain, the downtown traffic, and the season that dress shops and tuxedo rental shops are super busy. It is romantic to have your wedding around Valentine's day, but know that flower shops will absolutely increase prices on those busy holidays. Tips like these are why I help plan weddings from start to finish.
Here's some quick advice. Do not hire vendors online without reading reviews and researching them online and in person. Many of these Facebook, Craigslist, Instagram vendors will take your money real quick and fail to deliver. It's helpful to vet these vendors for credibility and experience, something a wedding planner has already done. And of course, always have a contract!
Being "The Bride" is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. You are getting married, sealing your fates, choosing each other, and sometimes, changing your last name or entire world. We want you to be happy on your day - that is our main goal as your wedding planner.
It is so helpful to hire a wedding coordinator who will understand your vision. When you hire me, (Stephanie D.) for your wedding vision, I will adopt your vision as my own and advocate for you. Together we can design your wedding and love story. You will enjoy your experience.
For those tender moments, remember them to the fullest. A lot of times, weddings gather people together and those people who are there might not be there the next time there is a family gathering. Weddings bring people together, and the photos become family heirlooms to cherish for years to come.
You are going to look amazing in your wedding dress next to your one-and-only, and I can't wait!
