May they/she be as sweet as pie like mine were! All of my bridesmaids (whom are my best friends), were amazing I could not think of another group of girls that I would want by my side. I had two Maid of Honors and both were so supportive and delightful but Yalisse truly shined for my wedding day and I think my other bridesmaids would agree!
Yalisse is the kind of maid of honor I wish for everybody to have. Somebody who will plan a weekend for you, or plan your amazing bridal shower. She planned both my San Antonio bridal shower and my bachelorette party from Houston, Texas and it was everything I had never knew I wanted. I will drop everything and do the same for her in a heartbeat. HEARTBEAT. That is my best friend. She needs to get married already - I cannot wait for the day.
If you're still choosing your bridal party, word to the wise: choose people who will have your unwavering support throughout. Bridesmaids fall out of the wedding sometimes and that happens. I've even seen my Bride kick a bridesmaid out of her wedding before. And that's okay! Whatever works to get to your goal of having the most memorable day with the people you love, and your new life long marriage.
If your MOH isn't much of the planner, doesn't have the time, or if you don't have one, that is perfectly fine. We can plan each party for you! Truly, show your appreciation for your MOH. She will have to listen to you talk about the wedding from up to an entire year (or more!) - and that's a lot of wedding detail. Pamper her with something special and show her that you value her time and enduring friendship. It can be something as simple as: A gift basket filled with small goods or a Kendra Scott necklace or ear rings that she can wear to stand out on the wedding day. However you'd like to show you love her, do it. She will look back on the experience with a smile on her face and not a ungrateful feeling.
