If you're newly engaged, one of the very first questions on your mind is probably: Oh my gosh: How much does a wedding in San Antonio actually cost?

The short answer? Most couples in San Antonio can expect to invest anywhere from $30,000 to $200,000+ for a full wedding experience, depending on guest count, priorities, and the overall level of personalization.

And while that number can feel overwhelming at first, understanding where your budget goes makes the entire planning process SOO much easier.

As a San Antonio wedding planner, I always tell couples this: your wedding budget should reflect what matters most to you. Whether that's an unforgettable guest experience, incredible photography, breathtaking florals, or simply having an expert guide you through it all, your budget is really about creating a celebration that feels like you.

The Average Cost of a Wedding in San Antonio

For a wedding with around 100 guests, most couples in San Antonio spend between $40,000 and $60,000. More intimate celebrations may fall below that range, while highly customized luxury weddings often exceed $100,000.

But that's not the end of the story! For guests with lower budgets: consider cutting the guest count considerably. I was able to plan a highly sought after museum wedding for under $17k for all vendors. But they only had 60 people.

Your final investment will depend on several factors:

  • Guest count - more people = more food, chairs, tables, centerpieces, silverware, linens, china, napkins..etc

  • Venue selection - Us planners know all the good vendors at the "OMG so cheap" prices.

  • Season and day of the week - Some venues offer discounts for those off season months like June, July, and August. B

  • Vendor experience level - Sometimes you get more than what you paid for. Sometimes you get exactly what you paid for. It's no fun when your a planner who sees that someone sold you a package you didn't even need.

  • Design complexity - Luxury linens, quality foods, and overall decorations can spike the cost considerably. No doubt about that, friend!

  • Rentals and enhancements - That custom dance floor and those luxury draped backdrops? Oh yeah, $$$
